
About Sophia Dussek
Sophia Dussek née Corri, later Moralt (b. Edinburgh, May 1, 1775; d. London, probably 1831 - the date of 1847 usually given is actually that of her second husband) was a Scottish singer, pianist, harpist, and composer of Italian descent. In 1792, she married the composer Jan Ladislav Dussek. Her most famous work, the sonata in C Minor from Opus 2 sonatas (1797)was historically credited to her husband and , was undeniably her creation. None of her works
