About Sons of Sam
Sons of Sam was an underground hip hop duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, active during the early-to-mid 1990s. Containing members The Xav (Raphael Xavier Williams) and PA-Kid (Omar Renard Gale.) Their style is often compared to the jazzy, laid-back aesthetic of A Tribe Called Quest, but with a more rugged, "dusty" Philly underground edge and deep-voiced lyrical delivery.
