There are multiple bands named Sons of Light: 1) A reggae band that released the enigmatic single Land of Love produced by Lee Perry in his legendary Black Ark Studio. 2) An R&B band from the UK. 1) Lee Perry's shift from successful, prolific producer to embittered, embattled recluse was gradual, but by 1978 the omens were there to be seen amidst the growing reels of unfinished albums and the ever growing pile of unreleased singles. Still, The Upsetter continued to unleash classic records
