About Sonja Prunnbauer
The Hamburg-born guitarist Sonja Prunnbauer received her first guitar lessons with Eike Funck in Hamburg to study with Karl log in Vienna. Starting her solo career was the competition "Young Artists Concerts" from which it emerged in 1974 as a winner, following which it was committed to a number of concerts as a soloist. During this time, she also received a teaching position at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg. Since 1980, Sonja Prunnbauer is a professor of classical guitar at the University of Music in Freiburg.
