About Sometime In February
Sometime in February started as the instrumental solo project for Charlotte, NC based musician Tristan Auman. The guitarist/songwriter recorded the debut EP “Here Goes” with several studio musicians before bringing on drummer Scott Barber and bassist Morgan Johnson as permanent members. As a group, they craft their own unique texture of progressive rock and metal by taking pieces of post-rock, math-rock, as well as their past and contemporary influences such as Intervals, Haken, and Dream Theater.
