About Sold Ash
As 2019 came to a close and a strict lockdown hit South African shores, the melodic noise rock of Sold Ash was born. The brainchild of Cape Town-based producer, musician and engineer Ruan Vos, Sold Ash was initially a droning noise rock trio, but they gradually evolved into a transient 5 or even 6-piece formation, taking on heavier, more melodic hooks without sacrificing any of their lush, lingering foundations. April 2020 marked the release of Sold Ash's début EP.
