Snorkel can refer to multiple artists: 1. A South London-based collective 2. An Australian composer and sound designer 3. An American noise-rock band from Kalamazoo, Michigan 1. Snorkel are an avant-whatever collective exploring the nether regions between the groove and free improvisation; sub-aquatic observations of dub, jazz, afro-beat, krautrock and electronica. This South London-based collective, whose members come from different corners of the alternative scene, bring together the tactics of improvisation, electronica, and sound art.
