About Snekka
Snekka is a folk rock group formed in 2000. The original sound, distinctive and professional musicians together with mainly self-composed repertoire form the strong and recognizable sound of Snekka. The band has become known of its ambitious, high-quality music and their raging stage performance. In summer 2003, Snekka gained The Finnish Championship of Folk Music with an acoustic line-up. The same year drummer Tuomas Rauhala joined the band. With its current line-up, the band has widely achieved recognition and success.
