About Snakes On A Plane
Now known as Vilna: Formed in Bristol, late 2005, from members of Bristol math-rock Ygiis Tarachi, as well as soloists Loxodonta and Rose Kemp. Previous members include Matt Williams aka Team Brick. Forthcoming EP to be released in summer 2006. From the band's own bio :- 'Snakes On A Plane offers dark, cyclic post-rock with a steady, intrepid sound spurred by its own perpetual motion. Soothing arpeggios and haunting ostinatos give way to smashing distortion-scarred passages of purpose in a salute to experimental rock of all kinds.
