Formed in early 2007, Reading-based Folk-Punk outfit Smokey Bastard have been playing raucous live shows around the UK for four years. Started with the intention of being the UK’s answer to the likes of Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, Smokey Bastard were quick to merge the energetic live shows which inspired them with a sound of their own, resulting in the wall of instrumental mayhem they gig with today. Their forthcoming second album 'Tales From the Wasteland' is due for release in September 2011 on Bomber Records.
