About Smiling Politely
Hailing from Minnesota and comprising members Eric Tracey (vocals, guitar), Brian Harper (bass), Jeff Hedrix (guitar, vocals) and Paul Tuschy (drums, vocals), Smiling Politely embraces a brand of hard rock mostly associated with the post-grunge era of alternative music, complete with crunchy distortion and melodic textures. The band emerged in 2004 as Smiling Politely (a name taken from an episode... of the popular television show “The Simpsons”) and released their debut EP, Screamelody.
