About Smiley Kids
Now broken up, the Denver-based punk group the Smiley Kids on RED EAR RECORDS played aggressive but melodic skate punk with a positive spiritual message. They're sound is along the lines of Screeching Weasel and Operation Ivy. They toured with Switchfoot on the Pants Across America Tour. They released one full-length album, Don't Get Bored (1999) and a fifteen song album entitled Still Smilin' After All These Years. The Smiley Kids were most well known for their positive and uplifting lyrics.
