About Small Life Within
Small Life Within was started in the Summer of 2006 as a temporary improvised project for one show by Zach Leeson. He then contacted people he had hand-picked for the project, which led to the current lineup. The first practice started out as a bizarre electro-funk session, as they tend to do with the people in the band, but quickly changed into a very calm ambient atmosphere. Small Life Within played their first show at Jesse Hardy's birthday show, at friend Tim Darby's house. The show was essentially terrible, and people were leaving.
