Slow Recovery is Chip Bates and David Nelms.These two musicians started playing together two decades ago as teenagers in high school. After several bands, recording projects, and 18 years they have come together again to unleash their unique take on rock. Chip Bates is currently based out of Lawton,Ok. He has been playing bass for over 20 years. He has a love for rock and a passion for the blues. Chip has been a collabrative artist working with people like: George Wallentin from Austria, Bjorn from Sweden, Gary Paul,Jr.
