The Slow Natives were a reggae band based in Plattsburgh, NY, formed in the summer of 2006. They released their self-produced debut album "Weapon", on September 29, 2007. They broke up in 2009. In 2010, bassist Jamse Ward and guitarist Shawn Parrotte started a new band called Eat, Sleep, Funk!.
