Simon Slator (www.simonslator.info) is a musician from Tamworth, Staffordshire, Great Britain. He is focused mainly on electronic ambient music. He has been creating music for at least 10 years, but since 2003 he turned solely to ambient. His albums are now available on last.fm as a free download under the creative commons licence. His inspiration include Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Steve Roach, Jean-Michel Jarre and Mike Oldfield. Simon Slator plays lengthy soundscape albums, usually containing one track each.
