About Simon Roy
Born in 1976, Simon Roy (Last.fm user SimonRoy ) was influenced at an early age by such artists as Tom Waits, Dave Brubeck, Éric Satie, Pink Floyd, Glenn Gould and Public Image Ltd. In his early years, he was a struggling flute player and later played trumpet during his high school years. In 1994 he discovered the didgeridoo during a trip to Australia. He is now experimenting with field recording and the music production software Reason. Since June 2007
