About Silesian Sound System
The band's name has been changed to Silesian Sound in order to avoid any confusions caused by the term "sound system". Silesian Sound is a constantly evolving septet from Poland. Our music is inspired mainly by such genres as reggae roots, dancehall, ragga muffin but we like to spice it up with some funk and other inspirations. Although we have been playing only since 2004 we have already played over 70 gigs and have appeared on a few compilations.
