About Silent Cicada
Silent Cicada is the retired alias of Nick Shutter, perhaps best known for his reworked versions of songs from KIKIYAMA's video game Yume Nikki. While he released a large amount of music under this alias from 2011 to 2015, he no long operates under this name. His first releases as Silent Cicada were primarily dark ambient with heavy electronic influences, though he later began to make harsh noise and drone as well. Much of his discography has been disowned, and some of it has been lost.
