“We try and write about what’s currently happening in our lives,” explains lead singer Joe La. “As a band, we feel our music is at its best when it revolves around subject matter that is fresh on our minds. No filters, no mercy, just the truth.” It’s this kind of honest and unrelenting approach that is making rock rebels Silence Betrayed a hit with both fans and critics alike. Forming in 2006 on the outskirts of San Diego, the band spent its formative years perfecting their sound and touring the southwestern U.
