About Silberstern
SILBERSTERN was an Alternative-Rock-Band from Kapfenberg, Austria. They existed between 1995 and 2000. They were very popular in upper Styria but didn't had success in the rest of Austria. Frontman Hannes Strasser later formed the much more successfull band ROTER STERN SILBERSTERN. Hannes' biggest success was the winning of the 'Austrian Amadeus Award' for the song "Engel fliegen einsam" he wrote for the Austrian Superstar CHRISTINA STÜRMER.
