About Shuli Natan
Shuli Natan (Hebrew: שולי נתן Shuli Natan; anglicized: Shuly Nathan, born 1947) is an Israeli singer best known for singing Jerusalem of Gold (Yerushalayim Shel Zahav), written by Naomi Shemer. It was immensely popular right after the Six-Day War and made her world famous. It is still very popular in Israel and in Jewish communities world-wide. Her recent albums feature Israeli songs, works of Shlomo Carlebach and songs from Judaism. She gives concerts in Israel and internationally and is in some ways the "Joan Baez" of Israel.
