Shore dibentuk pada tahun 2004 oleh mahasiswa Sastra Unsada yang memiliki bakat dibidang musik. Walau mereka berbeda background musik, tapi mereka memiliki visi dan misi yang sama, yaitu membudidayakan sastra lewat alunan musik mereka. beranggotakan 7 personil mereka akhirnya membuahkan sebuah karya lagu yang dapat dinikmati seluruh masyarakat pecinta musik di Indonesia. Nama Shore dipilih karena memiliki arti pesisir pantai, dengan tujuan agar lagu yang mereka ciptakan
