About Sherman Hunter
Sherman Hunter’s musical career began at the age of six, when he was chosen to sing in the adult church choir. Members of the choir were impressed with his singing voice at such an early age. Sherman was influenced by gospel greats Rev James Cleveland, Dixie Hummingbirds,and The Mighty Clouds of Joy. At the age of ten, Sherman began taking guitar lessons. Sherman continued his musical venture by joining a rhythm and blues band at the age of eighteen.
