About Shemboid
Shemboid is the solo project of Alan "Shem" Sharples who is based in Leeds, UK. He uses guitar freakout, electronic noise, drones, loops, voice and field recordings blended together to form sound collages and psychedelic drone/noise freakouts. He's been playing for years and years. The Shemboid project started in about 1999/2000 when Shem started recording using a computer and he has been experimenting on it ever since. Shem has made many albums which he has issued as CD-Rs in very small quantities
