About Shaukat Ali
Shaukat Ali Khan is a Pakistani folk singer. Born in a family of artists, Shaukat Ali Khan began singing while at college in the 1960s, receiving help from his elder brother Inayat Ali Khan. Since 1970 he concentrated on singing ghazals and Punjabi folk songs. He gave a live performance at the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, and has been awarded the highest Pakistani civilian Presidential award. Sang songs like Challa, Kadi te has bol ve, etc. His song "Kadi te Has Bol Ve" has been adapted by movie "Love Aaj Kal".
