His first album "Subcodex", successfully united Dub, Downtempo and Drum 'n Bass music and featured the classic Headz track, "Holy Smoke". In 2002, Markus followed with the internationally successful 12" "Afrique", released on Vienna Scientists. The track was described as "a true floor-rocker manifesto" with support provided by Scheibosan
