About Shakra
Shakra is a Swiss hard rock band founded in 1995. The band released its debut album, “Shakra”, in 1997, followed by “Moving Force” in 1999. During its early years the group gained experience through extensive touring, including performances with Great White and Uriah Heep. The band achieved wider recognition with its third album, “Power Ride”, released in 2001. Around this time vocalist Pete Wiedmer left the band due to health problems and was replaced by Mark Fox.
