About Sex and Steel Wool
Sex and Steel Wool, named after a silly response in a charades type game at a party where the members met, was Buffalo's premier Surf Rock Band. Because of the chilly weather in Western New York, SSW filled an interesting void- Beach Rock. The band consisted of Andy Ramage (guitar/vocals), Geoff Keiser (vocals, percussion, guitar), Alex Baker (vocals/bass), and Brian Green (guitar, sequencers, & vocals). Sex and Steel Wool disbanded in November of 2006 and reformed with new members as Speed Limit Seven.
