Biography Seven Hard Years, or 7HY if you like, is the brainchild of ex-Shy drummer Alan Kelly but 7HY is no mere Shy clone. The first 7HY album, 'No Place in Heaven' released on Lynchburg Music in 2014, was well-received among fans and the press alike.
