Seraphs Coal was a Punk Rock band from Adelaide, South Australia. Formed in 1996 the band produced 2 ep's and one full length album before disbanding in 2002. The group achieved brief national fame when their single "Hope is where the heart is" reached #1 position on Triple J's Net50. Seraphs Coal was soon blacklisted by the station for recieving countless calls and votes for the band which the station claimed the band incited. The group called it quits in November 2002 to two sellout crowds
