About Senju Akira
One of the most important and acclaimed in Japan, Senju Akira (千住明) is an multi-talented artist whose scope of the work ranges from contemporary music, and symphonic works, to musicals, films or production work for pop artists. Senju Akira was born in Tokyo in 1960. In 1981, he left the engineering department of Keio University to study musical composition. In 1984, he found himself enrolled at the National University of Fine Arts and Music in Tokyo in a Major composition.
