From 1999 to 2003 the Brighton 5 piece known as Scuttle released a demo, 2 split singles, 3 CDEP's (Through Firefly Recordings, home of Kids Near Water, The Copperpot Journals etc) had a few comp appearances, toured the UK and France a whole bunch with the likes of Elliott, Planes Mistaken For Stars, the Movielife, Grade, Thursday, Hundred Reasons, Lost Prophets, Shelter, Down By Law, Funeral For a Friend, Hell Is For Heros, AFI, The Juliana Theory
