From Scottdale, Georgia, a small village near Atlanta. The group first appeared in 1926. In January 1927, the band appeared for the first time on the radio station WSB where they played until 1932. They produced tracks “Breakdowns” with OKeh and Paramount Records. “Their recorded material shows a wider range of material including tunes used chiefly by the jazz bands", notes Bill Rattley in the magazine Old Time Music. The band split up in 1940.
