
Scott Cooley is an award-winning songwriter and independent solo recording artist based in Michigan. Originally from Flint, his sound has been described as acoustic garage rock and Americana. He is perhaps best known for his regionally-famous song "Mackinac Island," about a tourist destination in Lake Huron, "Smitten with the Mitten," a folk song about his home state, and "Coney," a humorous ode to the popular experience of going to get a Flint-style coney dog.
