About Scorned Embrace Scorned Embrace began in the summer of 2007 with one goal in mind: to push the boundaries of metalcore. The five piece group featuring Mike Clark (vocals), Elliott Flanagan (guitar), Logan Matti (drums), Mike Hendrix (Drix, bass), and Josh Williams (guitar), takes inspiration from bands like Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and Unearth. Scorned embrace blends these influences to produce music riddled with crushing breakdowns
