About schintaler
This Dutch group was founded in the end of 1995 in Limburg by Martin Diederen, John Diederen, Willy Brouns, Eric Heijnen, Roger Diederen and Patrick Zelissen. Later Guido Frissen joined them as a frontman and guitarist. The Schintaler wanted to record Dutch dialect music (Limburg) in a commercial way. The Schintaler got well-known in the region after the release of the single 'Mien Limburgs landj'. In 1996 they released their first album 'Golvend Heuvelland'
