About Schatzi
Schatzi are an indie pop band, formed in 1996 in Austin, TX by Christian Kyle, Montez Williams, Jason Westbrook and Jason Altman. They achieved mild success with 2001's Death of the Alphabet EP and 2002's Mammoth Records full length Fifty Reasons To Explode. Schatzi last played in the spring of 2009. Drummer Mark Ford continues to play in the band Magnet School (where he plays guitar and sings) and bassist V. Marc Fort plays bass in the dream pop/rock band Norushi Minx.
