About Scarlet Mae
Scarlet Mae are a Dutch band playing pop music with a touch of jazz and folk, around singer, songwriter and pianist Marije van Rijn. Her music has a light and lively feel, she can easily switch from modest to exuberant, playing a catchy chorus that sticks in the back of your mind all day. A four song EP, released in 2011, gave Scarlet Mae an impressive start in the Dutch music scene. They played at festivals such as Eurosonic/Noorderslag and Hollands biggest free festival Appelpop.
