About Sapat
Sapat is an American experimental outfit from Louisville, KY, that has involved more than 30 collaborators who joined and left over the years. They play an acid psych/folk/country/kraut mishmash in the vein of Wooden Shjips, Davenport and similar. Spawned from a collective known as Black Velvet Fuckere (Valley Of The Ashes, Phantom Family Halo, Kark, etc.), Sapat resides as the centrifugal force in this Midwestern psychedelic madrigal set in the psychosexual backwaters of the mighty Ohio River.
