About Santos de Aliseda
Santos de Aliseda was a Spanish composer who died on July 4th 1580 in Granada. In 1557 he had the position of chapel master of Granada Cathedral, a position he held for twenty-three years, earning the affection and appreciation of the chapter. He was succeeded in the position by his son Jerónimo. Some of his works are preserved in the cathedrals of Granada and Toledo.
