About Sant Andreu Jazz Band
The band was founded in 2006 at Escola Municipal de Música de Sant Andreu. Sant Andreu Jazz Band is a project arising from a music class. Conducted by Joan Chamorro, the big band brings together children between 6 and 21 years old, around a classic jazz repertoire with lots of swing, which gained the public and sold-out some of the most important music auditoriums in Spain. The band has performed at numerous concerts and festivals in Catalonia, and other regions of Spain as well as in neighbouring countries.
