About Sandy Gaye
Knocking at the door of the Tragar boxcar was Sandra Gaye, the Franciene Thomas of 1969. Her sassy, youthful swagger produced one of Tragar’s most distinctive singles in “Watch The Dog That Bring The Bone,” the grittiest funk Atlanta had to offer as the 60s found their end. Hardly surprising, when considering that “Funky Four Corners” writer Richard Marks had played guitar and co-penned the track with Bill Wright.
