Singer, harmonica player and songwriter San Pedro Slim a.k.a David Kiefer, hails from the Los Angeles port town of San Pedro, California. His first professional gig took place at the seedy San Pedro tavern ‘Between Rounds’ on Pacific Avenue in early 1991. It was from that moment on that playing blues became the most important thing in his life. “It was electric, there was a lot of blues happening. There were so many great musicians playing out at that time, you’d be out every night”, David recalls.
