About Sammy Rae
Samantha Bowers, known professionally as Sammy Rae, grew up in Ansonia, Connecticut, and began her musical career on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/willsing4fun) where she gained attention with her unique sound, metaphoric lyrics, and innocent music conveying powerful messages. Starting with her piano and beautiful voice she soon released her first single "Blast Off" onto iTunes in the spring of 2010. She relocated to New York City and now fronts the Funk/Jazz-Rock ensemble Sammy Rae & The Friends.
