Sam Moss is a Boston based songwriter and string player. His work rambles through various offshoots of Americana, from original and interpreted folk songs, to pastoral and occasionally jagged instrumental guitar. In addition to eight solo albums, Moss has released two albums with the old-time group, The Howling Kettles, and compiled "Imaginational Anthem Volume Five" for Tompkins Square Records. In 2012 he was in residence at The MacDowell Colony.
