There are two projects with the same name 1) Sadness is a project of a Mexican musician Damián Antón-Ojeda, formed in 2014 in Oak Park, IL, USA. Originally Damián went by a name Elisa, because they were a secretive person and used this name on the internet. As they explained, Elisa is a girl from their personal life. On July 10, 2014, Sadness released it’s debut album Close. The first Sadness' releases was made in the style Depressive Black Metal
