There are at least two bands to have recorded under the name of Sad But True. 1. An Internet-based Metallica tribute project. 2. A punk-rock band from Luxembourg. 1. Sad But True is the first (and probably only) Internet-based Metallica tribute project - so Internet-based that the band members live in two different countries: Crunchmeister - rhythm guitar, production duties & vocals, based in Ontario, Canada Matlike - lead guitar, occasional vocals, based in Ontario, Canada.
