About Ryan Winger
Ryan Winger began playing the cello at age 7, and soon taught himself the guitar, bass, drums, piano, sitar, harp, and various other percussive devices. He listened compulsively to Smile and Pet Sounds-era Brian Wilson/Beach Boys recordings growing up. He recently recorded a 35 minute song cycle in collaboration with Brent Russo as a lyricist during the summer of 2007 in a cabin in Prescott, Arizona. Now 25, Ryan has begun focusing on songwriting.
