About Russell Peck
Russell Peck was an American composer born in Detroit on January 25, 1945 to Thorland (Tom) and Margaret (Carlson) Peck.[1] He died in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 1, 2009. Peck's early music education was grounded in Mozart and Beethoven,[2] but also heavily influenced by the soul music emerging from Detroit during his formative years.
